About J and U Gem & Jewelery
J and U Gem & Jewelery started at a jeweller's bench, not a boardroom. We still believe the best way to sell a stone is to know exactly where it came from, who cut it, and why it's priced the way it is — so that's how we run the whole business.
A workshop, not a warehouse
J and U Gem & Jewelery began as a small jewelery bench serving local clients who wanted to know exactly what was in the piece they were buying — not just a certificate, but a real answer about origin, cut, and care.
That's still how we operate. Every piece that ships from J and U Gem & Jewelery passes through the same hands that graded the stone in the first place.
Direct relationships, not auctions
We buy gemstones directly from cutters and small mining cooperatives we've worked with for years, rather than through anonymous lots. It costs more. It also means we can tell you exactly where a stone was found.
When a stone has been treated — heated, oiled, or otherwise — we say so plainly on the product page. No fine print.
Our Strategy
Sourced with Origin
Every gemstone we sell carries its origin and treatment history — no exceptions, no guesswork.
Set by Hand
Our jewelery is finished in our own workshop by people who've done this for decades, not a factory line.
Honest Grading
We grade conservatively. If a stone is borderline, we tell you — your trust matters more than a sale.
